Inter House Quiz Competition 2019-20

Quiz competition are always interesting and informative with a lot of excitement. It makes the children aware about the current affairs”.

An inter house quiz competition “Battle of Brains” was held in the school auditorium. The students from Grade III to VII, of all the four houses gave a tough battle to each other.

The rules were explained at the beginning by the quiz masters, Mr Ashish Vijayvergia and Ms Sonia Shungloo for senior and Junior groups respectively. There were 4 different mind bending rounds in which the contestants exercised their brilliant brains confidently for answering tricky questions. The questions put forth to the teams were intriguing, exciting and made the audience go ‘aah!’ and clap when the teams answered correctly. The audience also got a chance to participate every time the teams answered incorrectly. A range of emotions were felt in the auditorium– happiness, sadness, regret and excitement. Everyone waited with baited breath for the announcement of the final scores.

Inter House Quiz Competition 2018-19

An inter-house quiz competition was organized by the school on Jan 31, 2019. The quiz began with the introduction of the contestants and explanation of the rules by the quizmaster Ms. Ridhi Jajoo for the quiz.

The questions put forth to the teams were intriguing, exciting and made the audience go ‘aah!’ and clap when the teams answered correctly. The audience also got a chance to participate every time the teams answered incorrectly.

Every round was a mixed bag with questions from history, sports, books, languages, vocabulary and science. The final round, the rapid-fire round gave the teams a chance to catch up with leaders and put-up a tough fight.

A range of emotions were felt in the auditorium– happiness, sadness, regret and excitement. Everyone waited with baited breath for the announcement of the final scores.

Agni  House won the quiz competition scoring 100 points followed closely by Neer House with 95 points.

The winners were then awarded with merit certificates by Ms. Sonia. This quiz truly was a learning experience for both the audience and the participants.

 

Inter House Sports Competitions

Children enthusiastically participated in the Inter House Competition for Grade III and VII held on Sept 15, 2018. It was organised to promote competitive spirit among all the four houses and excel in various Sports like Basketball, Cricket, Kho-Kho and Table Tennis. Children enthusiastically participated in the Inter House Competition. Students from different houses won in various games.
